1. Red beetroot and raw cacao nibs

This delicious ruby red smoothie is rich in iron from the beetroot and antioxidants from the cacao nibs. The added turmeric is anti-inflammatory.

  • 1 red beet (beetroot)
  • 1 banana
  • ½ tbsp. raw cacao nibs (high in antioxidants)
  • piece of ginger (I use 4 slices as I love ginger but adapt it for your taste)
  • ½ tsp. hemp seeds
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. turmeric
  • 1 ½ cup hazelnut milk

2. Green apple, pear and spinach smoothie

A glorious green smoothie, with iron-rich spinach, vitamin-packed apples and pears, turmeric and hemp seeds.
