David Kam – teacher feature

We caught up with David Kam, EkhartYoga's brilliant movement artist and creative yoga teacher, who encourages his students to get back into their bodies, to remember how to play and celebrate their unique expression. Here’s what he had to say.

Where are you from?
I’m currently based in London, but I was born and grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

How did yoga come into your life?
In the form of a billboard ad outside my home in Malaysia. My mum and I said yes to this beautiful opportunity to bond and never looked back since.

To keep learning.

What do you offer to your community, through yoga?
The wild permission to play and be free.
