Beautiful breakfast bowl

This combination of warm porridge with a green smoothie, fresh fruits and flowers is easy and quick to make and keeps you full for hours. 



I was about to go out for a long hike, so I figured an energising breakfast would be in order. I also longed for something pretty to eat. Enter: the beautiful breakfast bowl.

Ingredients:

For the oats:
⅓ cup oats
1 cup water
Cook the oats in the water until tender.

For the green smoothie: 
3 ripe bananas
1 tsp wheatgrass powder
1 tsp maca
⅓ tsp lucuma
½ tsp chlorella
½ tsp spirulina
¼ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp turmeric
¼ tsp ginger

For the topping:
2 cups fresh blackberries
1 tsp hemp seeds
1 tbs coconut butter (not the same as coconut oil)
and some edible flowers - for example, violets, roses, nasturtiums, lavender, hibiscus, borage, calendula...

Method:

Cook the oats in the water until tender
Blend smoothie ingredients together and pour the mixture in a bowl.
Top with the cooked oats, blackberries, hemp seeds, coconut butter and edible flowers.
