In this session you will stimulate your digestive system, improve circulation and diminish constipation, bloating and indigestion. José explains where the stomach, large intestine and small intestine are located in your body and shows you a massage technique to enhance your digestion. Learn about the stomach meridian pathway and when and how you can stimulate this meridian. José also explains what happens to your intestines during pregnancy. This session will leave you feeling energetic, detoxified and opened up at the same time. You will finish the session with three rounds of Anuloma Viloma Pranayama, also called alternate nostril breathing. Everyone can benefit from this session - also great for women who have had a baby as their digestive system needs to go back to normal again. Different options are given for each pose, so you can adapt them to your needs. Needed props: blanket, blocks, bolster and/or pillow.
Tea to aid digestion: mix an equal amount of cumin seeds, fennel seeds and coriander seeds in a large pot. For one tea pot use one or two tablespoons, let it infuse for 10 minutes.
