Headstand preparation: healthy and happy!

This specific class will mobilise and strengthen your shoulders in preparation for Sirsasana 1, Headstand with your elbows on the floor.  We go through a series of shoulder openings, followed by some strengthening in a balanced way to get the upper body ready.  We then do a handful of standing poses with very specific actions to get the legs ready.  From there, it’s over to the wall for a delicious trick to open the shoulders with a block (you need a friend for this exercise) and finally a few tips for doing the pose at the wall.
