In this class we combine a lot of Yang with a little bit of Yin yoga. We start the practice slowly, opening up the joints of the hands, wrists, toes and ankles to enhance the bloodflow and release tension. We continue with moving the arms and spine to get a nice warm-up for the dynamic part that follows. During the spicy Yang yoga flow we strengthen the core, legs and twist the spine. We then wind down with a few yin poses which help release tensions in the shoulders, neck, back and hips. Ending with a Savasana to experience the effects of this practice. Great to do in the morning or evening. Props needed: blanket, bolster or pillow, blocks and belt.
