The great unwinding: An after work practice

After a long day of work for people in the service industry or those who work with computers all day the last thing you want to do is a yoga practice, but perhaps the most beneficial thing you can do is a yoga practice!  This ‘mellow’ class is specifically designed for an after work practice to help release tensions from the neck and shoulders while stretching the legs and opening the hips.  Some elements of flow are present through standing pose variations with an emphasis on taking care of yourself there is an overall feeling of stretching and letting go.  The practice finishes with a beautiful dessert of supported Reclined Butterfly Pose to drop the outside world and refresh the inner universe. Props needed: 2 blocks, belt, bolster and a blanket.
