Stillness is the root of all movement: A nonstop flow

After establishing a root of stillness in the body, this class is always in motion. With 45 minutes of non-stop movement we explore where the movements originate and trace them back to the source. After lying in Savasana to start the class, you will move around slowly to awaken the spine, hips and legs. With several ‘waves’ of vinyasa that include variations to open the the shoulders & arms as well as connecting all movements to the core, this practice is like dropping a stone into the water to create waves of energy in the body. There are variations with triangle & twisted triangle / Side angle & twisted side angle / Open legs standing poses and a some backbend waves all deeply anchored to the root… stillness. NEEDS: Block
