This Yin yoga class is part of the home yoga retreat program, but can also be done by itself. This prepares you to rest in stillness and to sit in meditation. We focus on the pause at the end of the outbreath and top of the inbreath, as a way to access the stillness. Also observing your thoughts teaches you to separate yourself from your thoughts to find stillness. Physically we work on forward bends, backbends, we open the side body, hips and twist to end the session. All to prepare and open the different parts of the body to sit comfortably. We end with a 12 minute meditation.
