An all levels vinyasa class exploring the range of motion and directions in the hips. Starting with variations of sun salutations and lunge poses to warm up and leading into a final 'wave' of poses with some exciting variations of balancing and deeper hip openers. Although the class has some advanced poses in it, there are options and examples of more basic variations for all levels of students. When we arrive to the ground towards the end, we share a nice 'internal rotation' hip opener and a backbend to finish. While we explore the external and internal rotations of the legs, we can also explore the external and internal focus of Yoga to look within and connect to others in the outer world.
This class works on Muladara (root) and Swadisthana (sacral) Chakra.
