A healthy, well-functioning intestine can be both active and relaxed. Using conscious breathing has a calming effect on the body and organs. Twisting has a detoxifying effect on the intestines and deeper twists stimulate their functioning. In this class we work from more basic twisting poses to the deeper versions.
