Refresh for spring

Inversions are a wonderful way to refresh the energy in the body as it turns the body upside down like a sand dial. In this class, we open the body to make a deeper breath possible while at the same time creating strength in the legs and opening the shoulders. This class leads toward the gentle inversion of a Supported Setu Bandha Sarvangasana, making inversions more accessible to all levels of practice. Poses include Birdflocks,gentle Sunsalutations, Uttanasana shoulderstretch, Prasarita Padottasana, Virabhadrasana II, Setu Bandha sarvangasana.
