A healthy foundation for standing postures for those who have practiced some beginners yoga. This class is part of the program "Beginners Next Up" but it can also be taken by itself. We start with Sun Salutations and we bring more integration with the work of the lower body,cultivating a stronger awareness of the alignment principles in Trikonasana (Triangle posture). Especially useful for those who are not familiar with balancing as we introduce Vrksasana (Tree posture). We balance the strong nature of the standing sequence with some calming sitting postures, Setu Bandhasana (Bridge posture) and we finish with a few minutes relaxation.
