A very soft yet intense class, preparing and leading up to deeper backbends. This class gives special attention to the way we breathe and using the space and softness in the breath to start to clear way tensions we hold. Often times we hold our breath when blockages are experienced and the body hardens in reaction to the tension. Using the breath to move the energy on all levels of our being while observing the mind and body throughout the practice will bring more softness. The class consists of Vinyasa flow with standing poses like Cresent lunge, Virabhadrasana II and Reverse Virabhadrasana, Pigeon variation and Dhanurasana.
