Yoga for Anxiety

A special class to open and release stress that is often held in the body. The mind and body are closely linked and influence one another on deep and unconscious levels. When there is mental stress, it can find its way into the body and stay there, affecting us even long after the stress has disappeared from our view. This class will lead through slow and calming Vinyasa flow, closely linking breath and movement while opening the hips in a gentle yet profound way. Balasana, Adho Mukha Svanasana (Dog pose) Parsvattonasana, Janu Sirshasana leading up to deeper forward bends such as Pachimottanasana.
