Build up to Headstand

A general Yoga sequence that will help you to cultivate the necessary openness in the back of the body to move easily into Headstand. Together with opening the shoulders and upper back this will prepare you for Sirsasana, where the weight of the body will be on the forearms and elbows. This class does not include the full Sirsasana pose but it is an excellent preparation for it. In this class we will practice Half Sirsasana.
