We introduce a core theme, developing the lightness that comes from a strong mid section of the body. We start with a preparation to strengthen the abdominal muscles, and then introduce the theme of strength into a dynamic standing sequence. The awareness that we develop in this class is an excellent introduction or reminder of the lightness that we need to introduce more advanced postures. We finish with a seated short sequence and some counterposes to calm the body and the mind.
