We will be completing the series of Universal Principles of Alignment with the other refinement technique of the legs with the introduction of the fourth Principle of “Outer spiral.” This principle “seals” in the core strength and opening created by the previous Universal Principles. Outer spiral creates a both a rooting down and length in the body. Experience this in a practice with basic backbends and twists. With this practice you will have experienced most poses in the basic Yoga poses curriculum.
