A gentle yoga class that will bring flexibility to your hips and legs. It focuses on seated and reclined postures and is perfect if you just want to take it easy and get the energy flowing in the lower body. It's also suitable for beginners and people with limited mobility. We warm up with various reclined leg rotations (Supta Utthita Hasta Padungusthasana) using a strap and hip openers like Supine Pigeon or Thread the Needle. Next up, some seated postures such as Butterfly poses (Baddha Konasana), Seated twist (Ardha Matsyendrasana) and seated Pigeon pose. You'll feel relaxed and free in your lower body after this practice. Suggested props: a strap, a blanket or block to sit on.
