Blissful back and spacious hips

The main invitation in this class is to constantly come back to your centre ("check the weather report"), to feel what is going on in your body right now, and let that information inform the way you move and settle into a pose. We start with a few minutes of a gentle, standing warm up with some free movement. We move onto all fours where we open and stimulate circulation around the hip joints, (lunges, Monkey pose, Lizard) and incorporate some strengthening work. We practice a few backbends (Camel poses) while taking the time to adjust to how our bodies feel, while resting in Virasana in between. We finish with some cooling poses and a lovely relaxation.
