A gentle class practiced mostly close to the floor and geared towards dissolving tension and deeply relaxing the body. We begin with a 10 minute meditation to draw in our focus and attention. Next, we slowly move through poses that will release tension in the upper and lower body. These include Eagle arms, lunges, adapted Side plank, and twists. The questions we focus on while holding some of the poses are: ‘What am I aware of?’ ‘Can I be with this?’ Tension tends to dissolve when it is seen and held with kindness.
