Inspired by the 80’s hip hop group Beastie Boys, this deep slow class is perfect after travelling, after a long day of work or even as a morning practice when you just want to keep things low and deep. This class begins with a 5-minute pose with a block on the forehead to help ‘drop the analysing mind’ and get into the feeling realm. Options and instructions are in the video so please feel free to take the block away if it causes any anxiety or restricts your breathing. We then move through some slow, deep hip opening poses that stay low to the ground with looooong slooooooow breathing. We finish by resting over a block to really let go.
