Anatomy - why can't I perform certain poses?

José will give you anatomical information on certain areas of the body and explains how you can avoid injuring your joints during your yoga practice, by giving adaptions and adjustments for both Yin and Yang yoga poses. You will come to understand that besides tension, the shape of your bones also determine the range of movement you have in your joints. And that due to practicing aesthetically -the pose should look like the picture- instead of practicing poses beneficially and functionally for your body, you can get frustrated and even injured. These are effects that can never be the goal of practicing yoga.
