Use the power of an embodied practice to reveal mental, emotional and physical patterns.
Aren’t we looking for a sense of “Aliveness” in our everyday lives? Then we need to let go of our preconceived ideas in order to receive that.
Using Julie’s unique form of asana and movement, sacred dance, creative writing and somatic meditation, we will travel on a journey of self discovery. Peeling away layers of self perception to create space internally and externally, explore the hows and whys and drop the unnecessary patterns along the way. Sometimes just taking a moment to pause, breathe, listen and then observe allows us to see what we are holding on to or what we have decided is still a limitation even though it is something from our past that no longer exists.
For Julie, all practices must be somatic, with awareness, with feeling and investigation. Embodied. We will move through asana as an exploration, dance with the emotional waves and pulses, let our stories unfold in our bodies, on paper and in release.
This will be a full immersion and all the wonderful comforts of Satsanga Retreat Centre and Julie’s careful guidance will allow you to let go of everything that no longer serves you and begin again, with new clarity, tools for re-programming and a deeper connection to who you really are.
