Each module unites intensive practice with components of pranayama, meditation, beginner through advanced postures, yin yoga, anatomy, physiology, philosophy, sequencing, guiding, verbally and physically adjusting, holistic health – practical application with immediate expert feedback. This module is especially breath centric with exceptional attention to anatomy regarding the diaphragm, and modern science, biology and neurology behind why and how the ancient pranayamas work.
Twelve days of intensive study, practice, play, and application – toward your 300 hour certification, or deepening your own practice and understanding – provides Yoga Alliance Continuing Education hours. We believe that the most important part of being a teacher is being a student – continuing our own education and discovery in order to deepen our practice and therefore elevate our teaching.
