“Compassion in action”
09.30 - 10.20: Short talk, compassionate breathing exercises and meditation
10.30 - 12.00: Compassionate yoga flow
We may often associate self-compassion with turning inward but this morning we will apply self-compassion in action. We allow our yoga practice to become a laboratory in which we can study and observe our habitual responses to strong sensations or discomfort. This will help to dissolve unconscious patterns like judgment and impatience and find (self) compassion instead.
12.00 - 13.30: Lunch break
13.30 - 16.00: Self-compassion in rest
A mindful Yin Yang yoga practice that leads into a loving-kindness meditation.

“Learn how to add functional movement exercises to your yoga practice”
09.30 - 10.30: Pranayama and Meditation
10.30 - 12.00: Shoulders and hips yoga flow with functional movement
A fluid yoga practice in which we increase body awareness by adding functional movement exercises to our traditional yoga poses. We'll learn to actively engage muscles we may not be accustomed to engaging, rather than only using those muscles we habitually use. This helps us to protect specific joints. Notice your practice transform and become freer and lighter!
12.00 - 13.30: Lunch break
13.30 – 16.00: Yin yoga practice, finishing with a long and luscious Yoga Nidra
Peace is experienced when the body and mind are relaxed, so let this afternoon help you to do just that!

What to bring:
- Please bring your own yoga mat - unfortunately we are not able to provide yoga mats or other props.
- If possible, bring a blanket, 2 blocks and a bolster as well.
- Please remember to bring a water bottle with a lid.

By train or metro:
Take almost any S-train from Københavns Hovedbanegård (Central Station). Get off the train at Nørreport Station.
From Nørreport Station these buses will bring you close to the venue: 5C, 350S
From Copenhagen Central Station, buses no: 250S, 66

Parking is possible on Hørsholmsgade, which is situated in a “yellow parking zone” in Copenhagen, which is the cheapest parking zone. Saturday the cost is DKK 9/EUR 1,2 per hour. Sunday, parking is free.
From the airport (Cph Airport) to the city centre:
Take the metro to Nørreport Station or the train to Hovedbanegården (Central Station)
From the airport to the venue:
Take the Metro (M1 or M2) to Nørreport Station – and from there, take a bus☺
