Join Esther Ekhart for a rejuvenating and inspiring week of Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga Nidra and Inquiry - in beautiful Andalucia, Spain.
What to expect
Every morning starts with meditation and pranayama. After breakfast, we will continue with a strong (ish) fluid yoga practice that focuses on loosening the body as well as strengthening and stabilizing the body and easing the mind. Everybody can work at their own level. After lunch we'll have a break where you can relax around the pool or go for walks in the beautiful surroundings of the centre.
In the late afternoon we come together for some more yoga and awareness practices. In this retreat, the afternoon focus will be on deeply relaxing the body and mind, so we can begin to open to the mystery of the present moment.
The day will end with a lovely dinner. The food in Suryalila is famous!
Please note: To allow for restoration of body and mind we usually spend the mornings in silence until the morning yoga practice at 11.00.
Open to all levels
This retreat is open to all levels, but not for complete beginners. As a guideline, you should be able to follow the level 1 and level 1-2 classes on ekhartyoga.com with relative ease, and that you know your boundaries and are aware when to back off to keep yourself safe.
If you are new to yoga and really want to join, follow Esther's Beginners Vinyasa Yoga program and practice some of the level 1 and level 1-2 classes to prepare.

Arrival is on Saturday, June 3rd. We have an introduction in the evening. Departure on Saturday, June 10th after breakfast.
Cost per person:
Includes seven nights accommodation, fantastic meals served three times daily, coffee and tea plus our complete yoga, meditation and awareness program.
- €915 - bed in a big shared dorm (holds 8 people)
- €915 - 2 beds in a tent sharing
- €950 - 3 beds in a yurt sharing
- €950 - bed in mini-dorms (holds 3-4 people)
- €1010 - family yurt / 2 double beds in a yurt
- €1075 - twin or double occupancy
- €1210 - Single rooms without private bathroom
- €1295 - Single rooms with private bathroom

To book and secure your place you need to pay a non-refundable deposit of €350.

How to get there
Transfers from Jerez, Seville, and Malaga airports
We will collect travel details from you a few weeks before we start. Suryalila will then arrange transfers from the Jerez, Seville, and Malaga airports. Where possible drivers will collect guests together so you can split the costs. These transfers are less expensive than a taxi, however you should pay the drivers, as Suryalilia does not make any commissions on transfers.
The estimated cost per car in 2017 will be:
- €60 one way from Jerez airport
- €70 one way from Seville airport
- €130 one way from Malaga airport
Esther Ekhart has been teaching Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga for over 20 years. Her knowledge and practical down to earth teaching has inspired thousands of yogis all over the world.
She is an internationally experienced yoga teacher, Clarity teacher and therapist. Yoga and Clarity work showed Esther that there is nothing to find and that everything she was looking for is 'right here, right now'.
