Magic Glastonbury, King Arthur's ancient isle of Avalon, has been a centre of pilgrimage for a wide range of people of different faiths and spirituality since ancient times.

Glastonbury Tor rises dramatically from the mystical landscape of the Somerset levels. Nestled just beneath the Tor, and within easy walking distance from the town is Shekinashram, the special location for our weekend retreat. The retreat offers the perfect opportunity to wind down, relax and practice yoga in a spiritual surrounding. The Ashram offers Bhakti yoga sessions like Friday evening Kirtan chanting and early morning fire ceremonies, which are optional and free for you to join.

Prices and bookings

£275 per person sharing in double room - £285 per single room (only 2 available)

Prices include full accommodation and all meals, yoga sessions, all activities and the use of a real sauna.

Bookings are confirmed with a deposit - £100 non refundable. Due to the very limited amount of spaces available, we ask to confirm your booking with a deposit as soon as possible. Cheques, bank transfer and cash are accepted.

  • 3 pm Arrive.
  • 4 pm Wind down Yoga practice - Asana and Pranayama
  • 6.30 pm Light supper
  • 7.30 pm Kirtan at the ashram (optional)


  • 6.30 am Meditation and Pranayama
  • 7.00 am Puja Ceremony at the ashram (optional)
  • 8.30 am Breakfast
  • 11.30 -13.00 am Asana
  • 13.30 pm Lunch - main meal of the day
  • 5:00- 6.30 pm Asana and Pranayama
  • 7.00 pm Light supper


7.00 am Vedic Fire Ceremony (optional)


  • 7.00 am Silent Walking Meditation to the Tor 
  • 8.30 am Breakfast
  • 11:30 -13:00 pm Asana
  • 1.30 pm Lunch
  • 2:30 - 3:30 pm Gentle Asana and Pranayama
