Comfort and support: a Yin - Yang practice

We experiment with 2 aspects of the practice of yoga: the grounding and the uplifting elements. Playing about with the quality of connecting with the Earth in order to comfort and reassure. We open up our practice with some classical Yin postures, including Frog posture and Melting heart. The Vinyasa flow offers chest openings culminating with Dhanurasana (bow posture). We also practice Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulder stand). Reflecting on the motivations that makes you gravitate towards yoga - is it for the thrill of practicing fancy postures?
