Yoga for better sleep

We practice few postures that calm the system and promote relaxation, they can also help to aid an undisturbed sleep. In this brief practice that can be performed just before bedtime, I suggest a head supported version of Urdha Mukha Svanasana (dog facing down), a calming Janu Sirsasana (head to knee posture) and a supported Pachimottanasana (forward stretch). The powerful forward bending is excellent to calm the body and the mind, soothing the nervous system.
