Groundedness, solidity, firmness and from there expansion and freedom... This flow will connect you to the earth to find the stability and freedom to balance in poses like Tree pose, Standing hand to big toe pose, Warrior III pose and more. 
When you experience a day when you don't feel grounded (like me when I taught this class), practicing these poses aren't easy. You will likely fall over, but remember it's about the journey towards balance and not about only being able to do these poses when your balance is already great.
