Before getting down to "business" and accessing your own inner strength, you will do a few shoulder opener poses to awaken the muscles and create space at the joints. Feel free to repeat this portion of the class a few times before you move further. The next step is to learn how to support your own body weight on your shoulders in a safe manner. Repetition of this class on a daily or weekly basis will help to improve your confidence when moving into inversions or arm balances.
