In this class we go through some different techniques to help with anxiety and stress. We work with the breath and with awareness of the body and mind. By understanding ourselves better we can perhaps understand our reactions to life events better too. We use visualisation techniques, mudras, guided muscle relaxation, affirmations, and breath techniques exploring how the breath can alter the way we think and how we feel. We begin lying down so it's nice to have a blanket and maybe cushions or a bolster for under your legs. Then we work in a comfortable seated position, where you can use a wall to lean on or chair if you wish. Take this time out for yourself and feel nice and relaxed afterwards. A good practice for the evening, if you are recuperating after illness or at times of stress.
