Sitali Pranayama

Sitali which means cool is a method of yogic breathing. It is聽done by sticking the tongue out and curling the sides of the tongue so air passes through the straw-like hole made by the tongue. This cooling breath is perfect for summer heat, after a heating yoga practice and for chilling a hot temper. Yoga breath exercises are powerful and transformative.
