Back bends - Bhujangasana & Matsyasana. Back bends are one of the most challenging and intense type of asanas of yoga. They require physical openness, mental flexibility, and confidence. Back bends open the front part of the body, especially the chest. Thus, these asanas are supporting and uplifting for the heart, driving off darkness and enabling an exploration of the hidden agenda within.
