Love your lower back

In this practice we will encourage the lumbar area to lengthen, with opportunities to release tight hip flexors. Postures such as Child's pose, squatting and resting semi-supine are very beneficial to stabilize and balance the sacroiliac joints.  A block or folded blanket will be useful for under the heels in squatting.  If there are knee issues then the squatting section could be done from standing and sinking into a half squat.
