Ease into the evening

Often when we go to bed, the mind can be filled with so many thoughts that it is hard to relax and fall asleep. This session encourages attention and concentration to come to the present moment of the body and the breath, slowing everything down and letting go of the happenings of the day. With Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril) pranayama, the two hemispheres of the brain become balanced, and energy channels cleared of tangles and blockages, making space for a relaxed body and calm mind….and a peaceful evening with restful sleep.
If you feel any strain in the Nadi Shodhana pranayama, please decrease the length of the inhales and exhales or just stop the alternate nostril breath and let your attention gently ride the wave of every inhale and exhale.
