Tracey Cook

Through the transformational tools of meditation, Pranayama, philosophy, self-inquiry, and silence, Tracey encourages students to reveal the profound truths, which reside deep within their own hearts.

From a very young age, Tracey knew there was more to life than what we experience on the surface of our everyday lives…For years she searched for validation and answers to her questions of “Who am I?” and “What is the real purpose of Life?”

At 26 years old, she finally found yoga and realized that the answers she was seeking were within her the entire time! Through the transformational tools of asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, self-inquiry, and silence, Tracey encourages students to reveal the profound truths, which reside deep within their own hearts. By looking deeply into ourselves on all levels, we can see an incredible Dance of Life constantly unfolding within us. To know ourselves, not only as the individual experiencers of the Dance of Life but also as the entire dance itself, is one of the greatest gifts and capacities of being human. The practice and wisdom of yoga help us understand this and know it on an experiential level.

Tracey has lived and shared the practice of yoga for over 15 years in SE Asia, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. She currently lives in Australia with her family where she teaches weekly studio classes. She is also a Program Leader for ‘Yoga Tools for Schools‘, a non-profit organisation which helps educators and students manage their own wellbeing using the tools of yoga.

Tracey regularly joins Esther Ekhart as a co-teacher on Esther’s Yoga Teacher Training courses, sharing her passions of Pranayama, Meditation, Philosophy, and Self Inquiry. Her teacher, Clive Sheridan, is a constant source of inspiration, guidance, and a reminder that the magnificent dance of consciousness through our experience of living is never-ending.
