Do you want to feel freer and relieve tension and pain in the back? Then try this short Yin and Yang class, which mindfully releases, moves and strengthens the spine.
We start off off with Nadi Shodhana to energise you and help you experience the intimate connection between breath and spine. We continue with some slow, gentle movements to prepare for a deeper backbend. (If you feel a pressure in the lower back when doing backbends and prefer not to do them, José offers various suggestions to make them accessible for you.) We continue with forward bends to release the spine and neck and end with Yin poses that open the front of your body and twist the spine.
