This is a great practice to awaken the whole body, be it in the morning or a low-energy afternoon. All major muscle groups get a chance to be activated and energised, and there's even a little bit of cardio (at least for me) to get that blood pumping a bit faster. No props required, apart from a block if you sometimes feel your arms are too short, and a blanket or cushion to sit on.
Our beloved Anat has now passed on but it was her wish for us to share her final classes. Her spirit, deep wisdom, and joy for life continue to inspire us and we'll be forever grateful to her for being part of the EkhartYoga community.
