Addressing both the physical and energetic hearts, this practice invites you to pay attention to your heartbeat through dynamic movement practices and the energetic impact of being alive. We start with a little ‘heart center awareness’ practice and gentle mobilisation. From there, get ready for Jumping Jacks (sorry about the microphone) and then onto various waves of yoga poses and backbends to stimulate the physical and energetic hearts. In between some of the Vinyasa waves, we’ll return to physical heart stimulation with some exercises. Eventually, we reach Bow pose as the most ‘intense’ backbend and find a peaceful rest in Savasana.
