The spinal countdown

Combining three important qualities, this class begins with mobility, flows into strength, and finishes with surrender. We start with some joint mobility and Sun Salutes to warm up the whole body and spine, then move into some mobility 'waves' which involve various spinal movements in lunge and kneeling shapes. In the strength part, there is quite a bit of focus on the side body, not forgetting the abdominals and the back chain of muscles. The surrender part of the class involves two poses supported on a bolster, a block and blanket, so please have your props ready.
