Chakras are important energy centres in the body situated along the spine. We have 7 main chakras and they are connected to our whole system, our physical, mental and emotional body. This class uses Yin yoga poses to gently stimulate the 7 centres, so the energy starts to flow and the chakra can balance itself if needed. An option while practicing is to play the music of Ashana: Jewels of Silence meditation on the chakras. You can find this album on Spotify. At the end we will chant the Bija mantras. For your reference they are Ram, Lam, Vam, Yam, Ham, Om, Om. Recommended props are blocks, a bolster, something to sit on. Enjoy, it's a variation of a practice I personally practice regularly.
