Learn the fundamentals of Pilates in this online program with Anna Levin
This program is an essential place to start for Pilates beginners. It's also ideal if you've been practicing a while and want a more restorative or therapeutic practice.
In the first four classes we cover the basics of Pilates movements through anatomical explorations, looking at:
- The Pilates breath and how it supports you during core work
- How your pelvis moves in relation to your torso and legs
- The anatomy of the shoulder girdle and how the bones coordinate with each other
- The different movements of your upper leg in the hip socket and how that affects core stability
We put all these Pilates Fundamentals together in the final two classes.
