Power in the pause

The precious moments between the 'doing' allow us to sit with ourselves and the beauty of life. This practice begins with gentle Cat / Cow with specific actions and pauses. Then some standing stretches, followed by lunges and half splits with more pauses. Finally a Camel and shoulder opening series with pauses, leading into 'Square Breath' - breathing in / Holding / Breathing out / Holding, for equal counts, done with a metronome at 75 BPM. We finish with a few minutes of meditation to appreciate the pause from doing and embrace the realm of being. 

*Due to the breath retentions in this class, it's not suitable for pregnant women.
