Yoga for TMJ

Temporomandibular joint dysfunction, commonly known as TMJ, can be very painful and frustrating. To help ease tension in and around the area, try this short sequence! 

In Esther’s class,聽Yoga for TMJ disorder聽class you’ll learn techniques to relax the areas of the body affected by this disorder, such as the head, neck, shoulders and upper body. You’ll feel much more relaxed after this session聽and if you practise it regularly, you may learn to ‘retrain’ the body so the effects of TMJ reduce dramatically or disappear altogether. You’ll need something to sit on, a bolster or brick and聽wall space.
