News of the coronavirus has affected us deeply here at EkhartYoga. Some of our members are in the countries worst affected, including China and Italy, and we send our love out to you.
The situation is developing each day and impacting on us all directly now. While we know, thankfully, most of us aren’t in physical danger, we are still affected by the media coverage, concerns about our vulnerable loved ones, and the economic impact of social distancing measures.
So in light of this, we want to share some calm by offering free yoga and meditation classes for everyone, whether directly affected by the quarantine measures or feeling anxious about the outbreak.

Free online yoga and meditation classes
These classes include:
Hatha and Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Calming yoga suitable for all levels to shift the attention from the head to the body, inviting in groundedness, peace and relaxation.
Peaceful meditations to settle the mind and help develop resilience to challenging circumstances.
Yoga Nidra, Pranayama and Guided Relaxations
Deep, restful practices to relax and calm the nervous system, and release physical and emotional tension.
The classes are taught by Esther Ekhart, David Lurey, Anat Geiger, Irina Verwer, James Reeves, Rose van Ooijen and Marlene Smits.
If you have been advised not to exercise or are in any doubt of your physical health, please stick to the meditations and relaxation classes; these are suitable for everyone to practice.

Live online classes with Esther
Join us for a live online class on our YouTube channel. Weekdays 17.00 CET
Esther will share some guidance on navigating these difficult times. She'll talk through how to take care of our physical, mental and emotional resilience so that we can respond consciously and calmly to the events around us. When we keep ourselves physically active and manage our stress levels we also help to support our immune system. This live class will include gentle exercises to free energy in the body and meditation to settle the mind and energy system.
