In these 5 classes the aim is to deeply relax and nourish the body, mind and heart. Use the practices to de-stress and to rejuvenate every part of your being. Let yourself be guided into a state of ease.
Each class has a different focus:
- Hip rotations and supported backbends to gently release tension in the hips
- Twists to support the spine and digestive system
- Heart-opening poses to release emotions and invite compassion and love
- Supported inversions to rejuvenate tired legs and aching feet
- Forward folds to invite relaxing energy and calm the nervous system
By the end of this program we hope you’ll feel relaxed, rejuvenated and recharged for the holiday season.
In restorative yoga, we use props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks to fully support the body so that there is no muscular effort involved, to enable ultimate relaxation. If you don’t have yoga props at home you can substitute them with pillows and towels. Read our guide to DIY props for more ideas.
