The fourth in in a 5-part series of classes for those who would like to spend a bit more time on the basic yoga poses. The focus is on aligning the body and coordinating movement and actions with the breath.
This class will introduce yoga's basic backbends in a progressive flow that takes you from a warm-up of the legs and spine to so-called "baby" backends. Learn what parts of your body need to be engaged and strong while maintaining a flowing breath so you can reach your full expression of the pose in an accessible way.
