Let go of control - talk
Part 3 of The Super Sleeper Series. Many of us have a fear of not being in control when we sleep so we are unable to relax, and therefore sleep problems arise. This fear of not being in control can be rooted in all kinds of reasons often from long, long ago. We may have developed patterns to protect ourselves from this fear such as sleeping lightly or not at all. As adults, something may trigger these feelings again and revive these defensive patterns even if they are no longer helpful. In this talk, Taetske explains how to help with this there needs to be a shift from needing control, towards making yourself available to the gifts and mysteries of life. Sleep is one of these gifts of life; you have no control over it, you can only make yourself available to it.This class goes with: Let go of control - meditation. If you enjoy Taetske's teachings please also check out her Clarity week in November in Germany.

Introduction to 12 days of awareness
We all talk a lot about being more in the Here and Now. But how do we do it? This course will give you not just the answers, but also the steps and practices to really achieve more awareness in your day-to-day life. Through games and meditations, we will be opening the door to the moment. The process will also give you a clear view on the difference between experiencing the mind and experiencing the moment. Part of the 12 days of awareness program
Part 1: The game of the senses
Being in the now is about being with the reality of Now. The existence of Now. About meeting the divine in everything, independent of its form, in its existence. And for that, we need our senses. We need our senses to tell us what is here right now and to help us distinguish between mind and moment. Between fantasy and reality. Between imaginary and real. Between mind-created and divine.
Part 5: The game of having no expectations.
We all have ideas about what it's like to be in the now, or how we are supposed to feel when we are in the now. Ideas are not going to get you there. They will actually stand in your way. If you have expectations, you are not in the moment, you are in your mind.
Part 4: The game of no past.
A lot of our suffering is because of our past. Because we believe the past exists. If you can really feel in your bones that there is no such thing, it can make a huge difference in your life. There is only now.
Part 2: The game of separating mind and moment.
We are going to take a closer look at the difference between experiencing the mind and experiencing the moment. Mind and tension go hand in hand. There is another world waiting for you right here right now to give you peace.
Part 6: The game of gratefulness.
Gratitude opens your eyes to what is here, and it helps you see that you are surrounded by gifts. In fact, everything is a gift, or has a gift in it. Being grateful will give you a deep sense of fulfillment.
Part 3: The game of being where you are.
Today I would like you to open up to the idea that your life is OK as it is. Right now. Learn how to see it. Find the courage to enjoy what you already have instead of being wrapped up in creating what you want. Get into being instead of becoming.
Meditation, 12 days of awareness
The moment is right here, right now. It is the momentarily expression of the divine. It has the potential to give you peace. In this meditation we open ourselves up to it through the senses.
